The NH3SAFE Multizone is a multi zone sensing unit. Up to 32 ammonia sensors communicating to a touch screen main panel with all zones displayed on a 7 inch coloured display.
The touch screen displays current ammonia level and alarm condition. It is used to configure all settings.
As standard the touch screen has a dual relay that is typically configured to trigger one relay at >25ppm NH3, this can be used to activate an additional audio and visual remote alarms that can be mounted above entrance doors, warning users not to enter an unsafe environment. The second relay can be configured to activate at an alternative level/ voltage.
If used with the main control panel (Additional Hardware) it can then manually activate any fans connected or override the tank shut off feature.
NH3SAFE Multizone options include the following:
- Main Control Panel - Provides 8 relays to be configured as required, typically used to control fans and operate tank solenoids.
- Analogue Output - allows NH3SAFE values to be monitored by third party equipment such as the Britannia Wireless Monitoring System.
- Battery Backup - provide approx. 12 hours of power in the event of a mains failure
- Wireless Radio Transceiver - Allows the unit to wirelessly communicate with any OXYSAFE sensing unit and remote alarms, removing the need of cable installation.
Each NH3SAFE Sensing unit has a power indicator, alarm status indicator, internal buzzer, user recalibration function and complete with temperature compensation.
NH3SAFE Sensing unit options include the following:
- LCD Display - to show display oxygen levels and alarm conditions.
- Independent Single Relay - A relay to be triggered only by the individual sensing unit
- Battery Backup - provide approx. 12 hours of power in the event of a mains failure
- Wireless Radio Transceiver - Allows the unit to wirelessly communicate with the touch screen and remote alarms, removing the need of cable installation.
Visual alarm LED illuminated green to show the unit is powered on and switches to red when in alarm. They are also fitted with an internal buzzer to indicate an alarm.
Temperature compensation is built into the unit to auto adjust to the changing environmental conditions, that can provide inaccurate readings and false alarms.
The ammonia cell has approx. a 2 year life span depending on the environment, however to maintain accuracy it should be calibrated annually. We provide full installation, servicing, calibration and maintenance packages. Please visit our service contract page for more information.
